What attributes do
Custom attributes store structured customer details such as budget, interest, lead management tool, location and appointment preference. Attribute definitions belong to the organization; configured values can be shown on lead cards and used in filters, Playbook mappings and Workflows.
Set up a field
- Open the CRM attribute management screen with organization-admin permissions.
- Choose a descriptive field name and the appropriate type, such as text, number, date or option list.
- For option fields, configure the accepted values exactly.
- Save the definition and test it from an actual lead.
- If AI or an integration will populate it, update the exact matching mapping in AI Brain, Meta Leads or Google Sheets.
Rules to remember
- The attribute must belong to the same organization as the lead.
- Text, numeric, date and dropdown validation are performed by the backend.
- Model output is a proposal; invalid typed values are rejected instead of silently becoming saved facts.
- Deactivating a field does not automatically erase its historical values.
- The built-in Calendar Booked at field is a protected appointment attribute, not an ordinary user-created field.
When mapping fails
Check spelling, active state, option values and whether the incoming answer actually contains evidence. Review AI Trace before rewriting qualification logic.
